Honda release new ag bike
The addition of an electric starter on the 2012 model has made the XR125L more practical and usable, and may have prompted the decision to introduce this model to the Australian market.
Powered by a single-cylinder 125cc engine, the XR125L is ready for the toughest farm terrain thanks to excellent hill climbing torque. Built for hard work, the XR125L boasts electric start (with backup kicker), a 12-litre fuel tank and a dependable 5-speed gearbox. Gearing is modified to suit slow speed travelling essential for a lot of farm work.
Forgiving handling and long-travel suspension are other features, as well as a sealed battery that's completely maintenance-free.
A low seat height and comfortable riding position along with a powerful headlight and indicators means road reg is possible, boosting the practicality of this flexible farm machine.
Joining the XR250L and XR650L CTX200 Bushlander, CRF 230L, CRF 230F and CRF 250L in the locally-available Honda trail/ag bike range, the new XR125L will hit Honda dealerships in May, with an MSLP of only $2,990*. See your Honda dealer to order this rugged and reliable farm machine.
