OJA tractors launch in Australia
Co-inciding with their 20th year in Australia, Mahindra - the Indian brand best known for their four-wheel drive utes and SUVs - have introduced a new range of tractors to the local market.
Said to be purpose-built for Australian conditions, the Mahindra OJA launch range consists of three models across the 1100 and 2100 series – the OJA 1123 HST, OJA 1126 HST and OJA 2126 HST. This trio of compact and sub-compact tractors all feature a hydrostatic transmission and operator-friendly features.

With a model name derived from the Sanskrit word “Ojas” (meaning ‘Powerhouse of Energy’), OJA is Mahindra’s most ambitious global lightweight tractor platform. Developed between the engineering teams at Mahindra Research Valley, India (the R&D hub for Mahindra’s Auto & Farm Sector), and the Mitsubishi Mahindra Agricultural Machinery in Japan, the OJA range marks a transformative shift in lightweight 4WD tractor design, with cutting-edge innovations that are set to redefine farming in Australia.
Designed for longevity, reliability and operator comfort, Mahindra’s OJA range is based on an ergonomic platform with advanced technologies, powerful engines and first in segment innovations like a button-operated PTO, plus a loader with class-leading lift capacity. Mahindra OJA 1100 series
From the OJA 1100 sub-compact series, the OJA 1123 HST and OJA 1126 HST are described as ideal tractors for lifestyle property owners seeking a small but capable solution. Both models boast a stylish design and user-friendly hydrostatic transmission, with cruise control and a cabin heater standard.

Along with best-in-class loader lift capacity and cycle time for efficient loader operations, the OJA 2126 HST can be optioned with a fully integrated HVAC (heater + air-conditioner) cab, making it a reliable all-weather tractor.
