New Look, New Features for Ssangyong Actyon Dual Cab
The Tradie and SX models are available in 2WD or 4WD versions with a choice of the new 6-speed manual transmission or a redesigned 6-speed automatic. The premium SPR is available as a 4WD automatic only. A new 2.0-litre e-XDi200 Active Diesel engine, common across all Actyon variants, produces 114kw. This is a 14kw increase over the previous model, and also provides more power than larger engines offered by some competitors. The turbo diesel has a wide torque band, with maximum torque available between 1,500 - 2,800rpm, making for a highly fuel efficient engine.
The Actyon Sports has a new exterior look and is both longer and taller than before. Inside the cabin, the redesigned dashboard panel features a new instrument cluster with LED lighting and trip computer (time driven, distance to empty, average fuel consumption and distance travelled). Other standard gear includes air conditioning, power steering, remote keyless entry, USB and AUX port, power windows, electronically heated side mirrors and front windscreen, and a CD/MP3 player with four speakers and audio switches on steering wheel.
Floor mats, door scuff plates and power outlets are also standard, while the tray comes with a liner to protect the vehicle and onboard cargo. Alloy wheels, cruise control, leather bound steering wheel, and Electronic Stability Control (ESC) are standard on SX and SPR models. The SPR adds leather seating, climate control air, rear parking sensors, folding side mirrors, auto wipers, auto headlights and the option of a factory fitted electronic sunroof.
Pricing starts at $26,990 driveaway for the Tradie 2WD manual, rising to $32,630 for the Tradie 4WD auto. SX pricing starts at $31,092 driveaway, with the auto-only SPR retailing for $39,809 at participating Ssangyong dealers.
