MaxiTran's "Max Out"
The complementary mix of MaxiTRANS products on display will demonstrate a range of solutions to the numerous challenges faced by road transport operators.
One of the major attractions will be a very comprehensive Performance Based Standards (PBS) display from tipper giant, Hamelex White. A number of PBS tippers will be on display at both the company's internal and external stands. Displayed internally will be a 6 axle dog aluminium side tipper, specifically designed for sugar transport. "It can deliver 47 tonne payload under PBS specifications," said Hamelex White General Manager, Craig Wallace. "In an industry where you get paid per tonne delivered, that is a fantastic result." Displayed outside will be two Truck and Dog PBS rigs and the new Hamelex White steel side-tipper.
Leading the Freighter show will be their Low Tare/High Payload Skel, which can carry a 30 tonne, 40 foot container. As Freighter General Manager, Rod Cunningham, says "We know that transport operators face new financial hurdles every day in the form of higher fuel prices, new taxes and potential infringement costs. Our Low Tare Skel will provide some welcome assistance in the form of higher payloads, which leads to increased productivity and ultimately greater profits."
Australia's largest supplier of dry freight and temperature controlled vans, Maxi-CUBE, will display a reefer meat hanger, showcasing the company's flexibility in temperature controlled food transport. The meat hanger features air operated longitudinal swing down hanging rails, thus reducing OH & S risks for drivers and operators.
Leading tipper brand, Lusty EMS, will feature its latest side tipper. "This design gives the side tipper flexibility in many types of applications including mining, sugar and road works," said Rick Child, Lusty EMS National Sales Manager. "Its functionality and reliability, along with its tough, uncompromising performance, make the Lusty EMS Side Tipper a popular choice." Also on display will be a Lusty EMS Tip Over Axle (TOA) unit.
