Joe Rizzo retires from PACCAR
After spending time with Kenworth, DAF and Peterbilt brands for more than three decades, Rizzo will formally complete his time with PACCAR at the end of March, leaving a significant legacy through his work in a variety of roles, including Managing Director, a role he's held since 2007.
Helene Mawyer, PACCAR Vice President said; "Joe has made an excellent contribution to the growth of PACCAR Australia and his leadership has enhanced Kenworth's reputation as a world-class company. Kenworth is the market share leader in Australia, with the highest reputation for quality. Joe has been an industry spokesman and is a champion of Australian manufacturing.
"Under Joe's leadership, PACCAR Australia has introduced many new truck models including the highly acclaimed Kenworth K200 and the DAF XF105, winner of the 2012 Australian International Design Award. PACCAR Australia was recognised as the Victorian Employer of the Year in 2012. We will miss Joe's friendship, his keen business intellect and extensive industry knowledge."
Mike Dozier, currently Assistant General Manager Peterbilt Trucks, will replace Joe, effective March 1st. Mike has been with PACCAR for 24 years in senior management positions, including Peterbilt Manufacturing Engineering Manager and Kenworth Chief Engineer.
